Noida: A Dadri car repair workshop owner and three of his workers were allegedly dragged, punched and thrashed by a group of men for refusing to repair a snag in a car air-conditioning system on Friday night.Workshop owner Yusuf Khan told police that two men arrived at his shop to get their vehicle’s air-conditioning unit repaired. They allegedly became abusive when Khan informed them he could not service that particular system and directed them elsewhere.Yusuf said he called the Dial 112 helpline, after which the men left, but returned shortly with several accomplices armed with sticks and clubs.The group attacked Khan and three of this workers present at the workshop, leaving them severely injured. A video, possibly recorded by an eyewitness, shows a group of five to six men beating and dragging people by the hair while some bystanders, including customers, scream.Yusuf subsequently filed a complaint at Dadri police station. A case has been registered under BNS sections 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) and 351 (criminal intimidation). Police said teams have been formed to identify and apprehend the accused, officials said.
